myDatalogEASY IoT ATEX

Flexible data logger for ATEX Zone 0

myDatalogEASY IoT ATEX is a flexible ATEX data logger for outdoor use. It can be used as a gateway in ATEX Zone 2 and records sensors via radio or 4-20mA up to Zone 0. Two measuring channels are available for direct connection and supply of sensors (the necessary Zener barriers are integrated in the device). Various power supply options (mains operation, self-sufficient with PV, rechargeable battery or battery) are available for operation.

The IoT app ‘myDatalogEASY IoT ATEX’ is pre-installed as standard. Common sensors with associated Zener barriers can be selected from a drop-down list for the sensor supply. The sensor supply voltage and warm-up time are then set to the correct values.

The platform offers additional functions such as device management.

Flexible acquisition and transmission of data in the ATEX area

The myDatalogEASY IoT ATEX is a flexible ATEX data logger and can be used as a gateway in ATEX Zone 2. The device records data from sensors and transmits it to the IoT platform via mobile radio. In addition, two channels are available for direct connection of sensors up to zone 0.

myDatalogEASY IoT MPP Tracker mit Solarpaneel

Maximum Power Point Tracker

With the help of the MPP Tracker, the device automatically determines the ideal operating point of the PV module - regardless of the size of the solar panel used. Taking into account the environmental influences (clouds, shading, temperature, ...), the optimum charging power is always achieved.

Schleifspeisung

Loop power supply (4-20 mA Loop Power)

Up to 22V can be fed into the 4-20mA loop for sensor supply of two sensors. The sensor supply is configured via the warm-up time. Individual adaptation to different sensors is possible from one second.

Operation in ATEX Zone 2

The myDatalogEASY IoT ATEX is operated in ATEX Zone 2. Appropriate barriers are integrated into the spacious housing for this purpose. It collects data from sensors up to ATEX Zone 0.

  • Operation with PV panel in the ATEX zone
The myDatalogEASY IoT can be operated autonomously in Zone 2. The system can measure a 4-20mA sensor on two channels every minute. A time can be set for supplying the sensors with power before the measurement in order to obtain a stable measurement signal.
  • Flexible choice of Zener barriers for use in Zone 0
The two 4-20mA inputs can be individually equipped with the required barriers. A list of ATEX parameters is available for selection. This covers all 2-wire mA sensors available on the market. This means that the sensors can be used in Zone 0.

More Information

Autonomous operation in the ATEX zone

Operate application in ATEX zone without existing infrastructure.

The 30W solar panel is supplied with a pole mounting bracket for poles from 60 to 300mm. The panel provides the power for autonomous operation of two 4-20 mA / 15V probes, which operate with a measurement interval of 1 minute and require 20 seconds warm-up time.

With the outdoor mounting box (340x200x150mm), the myDatalogEASY IoT ATEX is mounted on the masts. A vandal-proof multi-band antenna is already integrated in the box. The outdoor mounting box is also UV-resistant.

Sensors in the ATEX Zone

Up to two radar sensors can be operated with the myDatalogEASY IoT ATEX for flow and level measurements.

The sensors are designed for use in ATEX zones. Power is supplied via the data logger. The necessary barriers are permanently installed in the device.

If your sensor is not on the list, please contact us at support@microtronics.com. We will then check whether your sensor can be used with the myDatalogEASY IoT ATEX and determine the Zener barrier to be used, the recommended configuration settings and the expected runtime.

Extended benefits through add-ons

Add-ons are software modules that run directly on the server. They use the data provided by your device to extend its range of functions. This creates new application possibilities and tangible added value.

Available add-ons:

  • Overflow Log
Logging of accumulation and discharge events in the stormwater overflow basin

You can find out how to add an add-on to a site here.
