Safeguarding personal integrity and your own privacy are self-evident traits when it comes to providing you with a pleasant stay on our website.
We protect personal and otherwise confidential data processed by you at a high technical level and also require this from third-party providers. Personal data is information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person, i.e. information that allows conclusions to be drawn about a person. This includes the name, email address or telephone number. But also data about preferences, hobbies, memberships or which websites were viewed by someone count as personal data. We are committed to protecting this data, not least by operating a certified information security management system in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001. In line with this, we consider compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation, the Data Protection Act (DSG) and the Telecommunications Act (TKG) to be a basic prerequisite for digital communication at eye level. This includes the processing of personal data exclusively on the basis of valid legal grounds in accordance with Art. 6 DSGVO.
Further information on organisational and technical security measures can be found in our Security Whitepaper.
In the corresponding subpages, however, it should also be made transparent which specific data is processed where, with which basis, for which purpose and with which associated rights.
We only keep your data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the respective purposes of the data processing. The duration of data processing also depends in particular on the statutory retention periods and the limitation periods for potential legal claims.
If it is necessary for the clarification of illegal or abusive use or for legal prosecution, personal data will be forwarded to the law enforcement authorities or other authorities and, if applicable, to injured third parties or legal advisors, provided that there is a corresponding legal basis. However, this only happens if there are indications of unlawful or abusive behaviour. Disclosure may also take place if this serves to enforce terms of use or other legal claims. Furthermore, disclosure upon request cannot be excluded, for example in the case of an obligation to provide information to an authority with an effective legal claim, with strict application of the data minimisation principle.
