Administration

Alerting

The IoT platform enables alerting of twelve event types via SMS, email, call or HTTP push. Creation of alarm call plans, use of hysteresis.

Analytics & Health

The IoT platform provides information about the status of your system (number of devices, status, available updates). Analysis and reporting functionalities of the measurement data for further tasks.

Application Management

Develop and test IoT Apps in the integrated development environment rapidM2M Studio. Central distribution for horizontal and vertical scaling of your IoT application.

Backend Logic

Data
interface

RESTful backend API for TLS-encrypted data exchange in JSON format. Interfaces to systems such as Microsoft Azure or AWS. Query current values over specific time period/data aggregation.

Device
Management

Administer, manage, configure and update devices throughout their entire lifecycle. Standardised interfaces for data integration into existing systems.

Device position

Overview of the locations of the units including the current status. Capture via graphical interface or API.

Tenant
Management

Overview of the structure of the levels and the elements for the administration of clients and data. This knowledge also helps with the allocation of rights.

OPC-UA

Standard protocol, based on TCP/IP, for communication with industrial devices and machines, which can be used independently of the operating system.

Portal View

Customise the graphical user interface (UI) of the IoT App. The data of all devices in the account are displayed and can be configured.

Process control, SCADA system

The open interfaces make it easy to integrate the data into desired target systems such as process control or SCADA systems. Some suppliers have already integrated the data loggers directly.

Rain overflow protocol

Rain overflow basins relieve the sewer system during heavy rainfall. The feature records the resulting water pollution when partially treated water is discharged into public watercourses.

Site Timeline

Tool for system visualisation, for expanding condition awareness and for better progress documentation. Timeline entries can be created automatically and are also visible in evaluation graphs.

Billing
module

Serves to simplify the billing of current service tariffs to your end customers. Benefit, among other things, from a monthly income and a clear overall view.

Low power network connection

The Loriot interface makes low-power networks available. The deep integration with the network server simplifies the management and operation of the sensors directly in the IoT platform.
