The bracket is designed for use in sewer systems and enables flow velocity and level sensors to be mounted on the ceiling of large-profile sewers, which may sometimes be completely filled. It can accommodate a VEL-R-5 flow velocity sensor and a radar level sensor.
The flow velocity sensor mount is inclined at 45°, aligning the sensor at the optimum angle to the water surface. The mount also serves as a protective shield, safeguarding both sensors from foreign matter in the event of flooding. The elimination of joints makes the mount less sensitive to changes in sensor alignment due to external influences, such as maintenance or cleaning work in the sewer system, or changes in flow during flooding. Although the use of three mounting points still allows adjustment of the alignment, this is limited.
The bracket is secured in place with three hanger bolts. It is clamped between two nuts. The nuts on the ceiling side can be adjusted to align the bracket, while the nuts on the opposite side secure it in place.
Drill three holes (diameter: 12 mm, depth: 70 mm)
Insert a dowel into each of the drill holes
Screw a hanger bolt into each dowel
Secure the bracket by clamping it between two nuts on the hanger bolts.
