The VEL-R-5 is a stationary, battery-powered sensor for the contactless measurement of surface velocity in fresh, dirty or grey water in shafts and sewers. The measurement is made by means of radar. In addition to the surface speed, the flow direction is also recorded.
Thanks to its integrated battery and local radio data transmission, no cabling is required on site. The VEL-R-5’s compact design also makes it ideal for installation in locations with limited space.
