The adapter allows a laser distance measuring device to be attached to the sensor mount, ensuring the sensor is aligned exactly for precise measurements.
The adapter can be inserted into the 1.5″ mount instead of the sensor (high-precision alignment of the measuring point) or attached to the tab of the sensor mount next to the sensor. With the latter option, the mounting height can also be determined when the sensor is already installed and aligned. Due to the unpredictable reflection properties of the water surface, this is only recommended for empty channels.
Note: The models compatible with this adapter, ‘Bosch GLM 30’ and ‘Bosch GLM 50 C’, are only available second-hand. For newer models, the Bosch PRO GLM 50-xxx laser measuring device adapter is available.
Insert the laser measuring device directly into the adapter and insert it into the sensor holder or attach it to the lug of the sensor holder. Then align to the desired measuring point.
