Adhesive mounting kit consisting of mounting bracket and mounting flange

The mounting set consists of the mounting bracket for the radar sensor and the mounting flange for adhesive mounting;

The stainless steel mounting bracket is designed so that the sensor can be optimally aligned. The swivel arm allows the sensor to be positioned above the level to be measured. The precise alignment of the sensor is then carried out via a ball joint.

Wall mounting with adhesive connection

  • Clean the substrate with a wire brush before bonding
  • Bend the wing of the flange to fit the wall
  • Apply a generous amount of adhesive to the back of the sashes and press onto the wall
  • Allow the adhesive to cure completely
  • Connect the swivel arm to the flange using the clamping screw
  • Optionally lock the swivel arm in place using a safety cotter pin

Note: The adhesive does not bond with the smooth surface of the flange. The adhesive effect is based solely on the enclosure of the metal by the holes in the wings.

Alignment of the radar sensor

By means of an adapter (optional accessory), a laser distance meter can be attached directly to the sensor holder. The adapter fits either in the 1.5″ receptacle of the sensor (precise alignment of the measuring point) or on an additional receptacle on the bracket (measurement of the mounting height with the sensor already mounted and aligned).
The adapter is compatible with the following laser distance meters:

  • Bosch GLM 30
  • Bosch GLM 40
  • Bosch GLM 50 C

 

Delivery

  • 1x sensor holder consisting of:
    – Swivel arm 140 mm
    – Sensor holder incl. Ball joint
    – Tensioning screws
  • 1x adhesive flange

Note: The distance between the wall and the centre of the sensor mount is 250 mm.
