The RS485interface is activated by the manufacturer before delivery of the myDatalogEASY IoTmini or myDatalogEASY IoT is activated. How the interface is used depends on the IoT app used. When developing your own IoT appapp , it can also be used with the Modbus master library (RTU/ASCII). Information on the Modbus Master Library (RTU/ASCII) is available here.
Important note: The RS485 interface and universal inputs 3 and 4 cannot be used at the same time.
The RS485 interface can also be subsequently activated by the customer using an activation code.
