The RS232interface is activated by the manufacturer before delivery of the myDatalogEASY IoTmini or myDatalogEASY IoT is activated. How the interface is used depends on the IoTapp used. When developing your own IoT app , it can also be used with the help of the Modbusmaster library (RTU/ASCII). Information on the Modbus Master Library (RTU/ASCII) is available here.
The RS232 interface can also be subsequently activated by the customer using an activation code.
With the help of the runtime calculator, you can estimate the autonomous runtime of the application as well as the costs incurred.
