Pipe mounting kit consisting of mounting bracket and mounting flange

The mounting set consists of the mounting bracket for the radar sensor and the mounting flange for pipe mounting; The swivel arm is available in a length of 140 mm or 390 mm. Depending on the selected length, the distance between the flange and the centre of the sensor holder is 250 mm or 500 mm. It is suitable for pipes with a diameter of 50-275 mm. The radar bar mounting set can be used for thinner pipes. The stainless steel bracket is designed to optimally align the sensor. The swivel arm allows the sensor to be positioned above the level to be measured. The precise alignment of the sensor is then carried out via a ball joint.

Pipe mounting

Thread the tensioning strap through the openings in the flange
Position the flange on the pipe (50-275 mm) and use the tensioning strap to secure the flange
Connect the swivel arm to the flange using the clamping screw
Optionally lock the swivel arm in place using a safety cotter pin

Alignment of the radar sensor

By means of an adapter (optional accessory), a laser distance meter can be attached directly to the sensor holder. The adapter fits either in the 1.5″ receptacle of the sensor (precise alignment of the measuring point) or on an additional receptacle on the bracket (measurement of the mounting height with the sensor already mounted and aligned). The adapter is compatible with the following laser distance meters:

Bosch GLM 30
Bosch GLM 40
Bosch GLM 50 C
