Respect for personal integrity and privacy are self-evident traits when it comes to providing you with a pleasant stay on our website.
We protect personal and otherwise confidential data processed by you at a high technical level and also require this from third-party providers used. Personal data is information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person, i.e. information that allows conclusions to be drawn about a person. This includes the name, email address or telephone number. But also data about preferences, hobbies, memberships or which websites were viewed by someone count as personal data. We are committed to protecting them, not least by operating a certified information security management system in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001. In line with this, we see compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation, the Data Protection Act and the Telecommunications Act as a basic prerequisite for digital communication at eye level. This includes the processing of personal data exclusively on the basis of valid legal grounds in accordance with Art. 6 DSGVO.
For further information on organisational and technical security measures, please refer to our Security Whitepaper.
In the corresponding sub-pages, however, it should above all be made transparent which specific data is processed where, on what basis, for what purpose and with which associated rights.
We only keep your data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the respective purposes of the data processing. The duration of data processing also depends in particular on the statutory retention periods and the limitation periods for potential legal claims.
If it is necessary to clarify illegal or improper use or for legal prosecution, personal data will be forwarded to the law enforcement authorities or other authorities and, if applicable, to injured third parties or legal advisors, provided that there is a corresponding legal basis. However, this only happens if there are indications of unlawful or abusive behaviour. Disclosure may also take place if this serves to enforce terms of use or other legal claims. Furthermore, disclosure on request cannot be ruled out, for example in the case of an obligation to provide information to an authority with an effective legal claim, with strict application of the data minimisation principle.
