The adapter can be used to attach a laser distance measuring device to the sensor holder, to ensure exact alignment of the sensor for precise measurements. The adapter can be inserted into the 1.5″-(high-precision alignment of the measuring point) or attached to the lug of the sensor mount next to the sensor bracket of the sensor holder next to the sensor. With the latter option, the mounting height can also be determined with the sensor already installed and aligned. Only recommended for empty channels due to the unpredictable reflective properties of the water surface.
Insert the laser measuring device directly into the adapter and insert it into the sensor holder or attach it to the lug of the sensor holder. Then align to the desired measuring point.
