Waldwasser Software Vertriebs GmbH & Co. KG operates a state-of-the-art, best-in-class data centre – nestled in the idyllic landscape of the Bavarian Forest, in the Moos waterworks near Plattling. Shielded from the public, it offers municipalities in particular highly available IT services and maximum data security. With internationally recognised TIER 3+ certification and BSI-IT basic protection certification, the data centre is one of the leading locations in terms of high availability standards.

State-of-the-art infrastructure and tested safety concepts are used to ensure that the sensitive requirements of water management are reliably met. Some key examples:
- Backup data centre at a geographically separate location
- Own large Waldwasser AS (autonomous network)

In cooperation with Microtronics, Waldwasser offers its own server on the internal ‘KRITIS’ data centre environment.
Microtronics data loggers record sensor data accurately and continuously – even under harsh environmental conditions. The measured values are transmitted securely to the central platform via mobile communications. The platform allows the data loggers to:
