The extension is built into the housing and adds an electrically isolated RS485 interface to the myDatalogEASY IoT. The extension is fed from the RS232 port supply, which can be switched via device logic. In addition to the isolated bus, a galvanically isolated 5V/50mA sensor supply is available at the 4-pin connector.
