Effective monitoring of hydrogen sulphide (H2S)

The myDatasensH2S continuously measures the H2S concentration in the air. The lower the H2S concentration, the more durable the infrastructure. The data logger is designed for use in harsh environments such as sewers and wastewater treatment plants and is certified for operation in ATEX Zone 1. The measurement data is stored on the web platform. Ultra Low Power technology results in a lifetime battery life.

Actively combat the stench of unhealthy hydrogen sulphide and the corrosion of components. By permanently recording H2S levels, you make better data-driven decisions. Optimise the use of chemicals and expand the application with automated dosing control. In targeted measurement campaigns over a representative period of time, you determine the load for the dimensioning of future systems or for improvements to the existing sewer system.

Innovative sensor exchange for seamless data acquisition

Old H2S sensor out, new H2S sensor in - thanks to the magnetic contact, correct insertion is guaranteed. Immediate sensor replacement on site means that there are no more data gaps. While the new H2S sensor is busy measuring, the old H2S sensor is recalibrated and then reused. This saves you costs, time and resources and gives you the advantage of seamless data collection.

ATEX Zone 1

The myDatasensH2S is certified for use in the hazardous area of ATEX Zone 1. The data is transmitted via mobile radio directly from the ATEX zone to the central web platform.

myDatasensH2S colour display

Full Color Display

The 1.5" full colour OLED display shows the current measured values as well as status information, such as the time until the next calibration or the time until the next device service, directly on site without additional software.

myDatasensH2S rubber armour

Robust and durable

With the rubber armour, the BLE Gateway meter is well protected for the harsh environment it was designed for. All parts on the device are made of plastic to prevent corrosion by the extremely aggressive gases. The repairability and low-cost spare parts ensure cost-efficient operation.

GasBuster

Start-up App

With the GasBuster app, you can conveniently read out the current values on site. H2S concentration and temperature are displayed in the app. Swipe to switch between all sensors within your reach. The GasBuster communicates with your smartphone via BLE. You can synchronise the data to the server via the GSM connection of your smartphone. Depending on the frequency of visits to the measuring point, your measured values are thus available on the server worldwide. GasBuster is available for Android and iOS.

Dosing control

Several options are available for demand-based dosing control to reduce measured H2S levels.

  • Local control with BLE mA Link
    A local pump control can be addressed with the BLE mA Link. This communicates via BLE (Bluetooth) with the myDatasensH2S. This automatically controls a pump to reduce the gas concentration in the vicinity of the sensor. In addition to implementing a dosing control, you can also forward the H2S value to an on-site display or a PLC.
  • Decentralised dosing control
    Using the IoT platform, a rapidM2M C3, for example, can be used to control a plant controller at a location further away from the measuring device. The dosing control can be operated manually from the office on the measured H2S values. Subsequently, automatisms, timers and learning systems for automatic dosing can be realised.
