Teamlead Engineering QA (m/f/d)

As head of the engineering QA team , you will work with a small team of trained testers for qualified development results across the board. From electronics to firmware to server software, there is a broad field of activity here, which provides variety and makes a significant contribution to the overall success of our products.

Your tasks

  • You design and are responsible for the qualification processes and test steps that are interlinked with development and operation, as well as the necessary qualification environments and tools
  • You develop the team both professionally and personally and ensure active knowledge management
  • You organise internal team workflows and handover processes with a focus on quality and efficiency
  • You act at the interfaces to development, operations and support teams, product management , product certification and HR, make activities and progress transparent and ensure coordinated, joint target achievement
  • You actively communicate with the team, prioritise and plan the use of resources, and supervise projects in your own area of responsibility
  • As a Playing Captain , you will also be actively involved in testing and analysing error cases and field returns

What you bring with you

  • You have a good command of written and spoken German and English

  • You have a sound technical background in the field of electronics and/or software testing and have already gained initial management experience

  • You are familiar with agile development methods, the test pyramid, test automation, CI/CD processes and generally an integrated shift-left approach to qualification

  • You are a good communicator and can convey complex issues precisely and to the right target group

  • You keep a cool head in challenging situations, can navigate ambiguity independently and pursue goals consistently

  • You enjoy team play and can motivate others

The collectively agreed minimum salary (KV for employees in the metal industry) for this position is EUR 3.341.50 gross per month (for 38.5 hours per week). The actual salary is based on qualifications and previous previous experience and will be agreed in a personal interview.
