As an ISO, you provide the necessary organisational framework and support to protect the company’s digital assets, customer data and intellectual property, ensure business continuity and compliance with relevant regulations, and enable secure growth without compromising business agility.

Your tasks

Further development and implementation of the information security strategy, including ISMS/ISO 27001-based governance.
Identification and assessment of risks, as well as the development, prioritisation and monitoring of security measures.
Sicherstellung der Einhaltung gesetzlicher/regulatorischer Anforderungen (z. B. DSGVO, NIS2) durch Richtlinien, Prozesse und Kontrollen.
Leitung der Reaktion auf Sicherheitsvorfälle inkl. Koordination im Ernstfall sowie Monitoring der Sicherheitslage.
Regular reporting to senior management / collaboration with IT management, as well as preparing for and supporting internal and external audits.

What you bring with you

Several years’ experience in a managerial role in the field of information security / cyber security
Proven experience in implementing ISO 27001/ISMS as well as regulatory frameworks such as NIS2 and related requirements.
Excellent technical understanding of modern IT and security architectures.
Strong programme and implementation management: steering, prioritising and delivering complex initiatives in a pragmatic manner.
A confident manner when dealing with senior management and specialist departments.
Very good German and English

The minimum wage under the collective agreement (Metal and Manufacturing Sector) is EUR 4,300 gross per month, based on a 38.5-hour working week. Based on your qualifications and professional experience, we will agree on your actual salary together during the application process.
