Account Executive (m/w/d)

As an Account Executive, you will play a key role in building relationships with potential customers and managing the sales process from lead acquisition to contract closure. This role requires a deep understanding of our products and solutions, especially with regard to the specific needs of customers in the environmental and energy technology sector.

Your job

  • Familiarisation with the lead: Making contact, understanding the requirements
  • Audit: Analysing customer information in the CRM to develop a holistic understanding of the customer
  • Establishing contacts and maintaining relationships: Reviewing and supplementing the needs analyses prepared by the SDRs and establishing a relationship with potential customers
  • Presentation and demonstration: of solutions tailored to the customer’s needs, handling objections and conducting live demonstrations
  • Preparing offers/conducting negotiations
  • Contract conclusion and aftercare as well as provision of customer support after the sale to ensure customer satisfaction.

What you bring with you

  • Experience: 2-3 years as an account executive or in direct sales, ideally in the field of environmental or energy technology
  • Strong communication skills: excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English
  • Proactivity: Ability to independently identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Ability to work in a team: willingness to work together to achieve common goals
  • Willingness to learn: Interest in the latest trends in the field of environmental and energy technology and willingness to undergo continuous further training
  • CRM knowledge: Experience in working with CRM systems (preferably HubSpot) is an advantage

Based on your qualifications and professional experience, we will agree your actual salary together during the application process. The minimum salary according to the collective agreement (KV Metall Gewerbe) is EUR 2,930.91 gross per month, for 38.5 hours per week.
