myDatalog

Robust data logger for measuring and transmitting in the ATEX zone

The myDatalog records the data from up to four remote pressure and radar sensors for level measurement (additional sensors on request). A 4-20 mA input with switchable and adjustable sensor supply (from 0.1 seconds; 0..22V) is optionally available. The data is transmitted via mobile radio (LTE-M). The robust system is suitable for use in ATEX Zone 1.

Applications:

  • Stormwater overflow basin
  • Combined sewer
  • Indirect Discharge Controller
  • Level measurement
  • Flow measurement for billing

10-year runtime with ultra low power technology

The myDatalog has an impressive runtime of 10 years (with a 10-second measuring interval and daily data transmission via cellular). If a sensor is supplied via the mA input, a running time of seven years is achieved (with 5 min measuring interval, 1 sec warm-up and 24 h transmission interval).

ATEX Zone 1

The myDatalog is certified for use in the hazardous environment. The data is transmitted via cellular directly from ATEX zone 1 ( II 2G Ex ib IIB T3 Gb) to the integrated online platform.

The current measured values and relevant status information can be viewed directly on the myDatalog on the 1.5" full color OLED display.

Querstreben Montagesetz im Einsatz

Measure every 10 seconds | 10 years runtime

The sensors measure every 10 seconds and transmit the data daily via cellular. The measuring system works maintenance-free for 10 years. If a limit value is exceeded, the data logger transmits immediately and triggers an alarm.

Data from the sewer - configure level measurement quickly and easily with just 3 components

In the video, we go down into the sewer together and have a look at the combination of a radar sensor and a mA sensor. This enables numerous applications, such as level measurement and alarming or control during heavy rainfall events.

Sabrina Waldbauer and Simon Somers present the innovations in the “myDatasens+” IoT app. Up to four sensors (radar or pressure sensors) are easily configured via the platform interface.

Level measurement of fresh, gray and waste water

Pressure and radar sensor

The device detects a remote sensor in the ATEX zone and transmits the measured values to the platform. Configuration is also performed via the platform.

  • Radar sensor
With the radar sensor, you will never miss an event in the channel again. The sensor is mounted wirelessly in the duct. The enormously low energy consumption leads to a runtime of up to 10 years. The mounting bracket and the spirit level directly on the radar sensor make installation easier and maximise measurement precision.
  • Pressure sensor myDatalogGauge
It is possible to create base point tables for special container geometries with trigger and alarm functionalities.
Parameterisation (offset and trim) takes place via the platform.

myDatalog with sensor supply

Supply, record and transmit 4-20mA sensors in ATEX zone

The mA input on the myDatalog can be used to supply 4-20 mA sensors directly in ATEX Zone 1 ( II 2G Ex ib IIB T3 Gb). The device feeds up to 22V into the 4-20mA loop. Sensors have already been tested for compatibility for the myDatalogue and a corresponding intrinsic safety certificate has been created.

  • Digital end position sensor REP01-15
Detect the end position of throttles, gate valves or cover openings
  • Hydrolevel® sensor of the SPK series
  • Radar level sensor Micropilot FMR20
  • Radar sensor Vegapuls C21
  • Hydrostatic level transmitter Waterpilot FMX21
  • Tilt Measuring System NM1-2L-420-ATEX
  • Pressure transmitter Cerabar PMC51B

Other sensors are available on request.

Product configurator

With the help of the runtime calculator, you can estimate the autonomous runtime of the application as well as the costs incurred. The actual costs and energy consumption depend on the measurement conditions, such as the reception quality and ambient temperature. Detailed information on the tariffs can be found here.
